“Ani-Human” - Lennette Newell has created a bizarre exhibit featuring naked models being covered with body paint to look just like wild animals. Daring pictures show models posing covered in paint as zebras, elephants, baboons and cheetahs next to their real life counterparts, inspiration that came from Newell’s childhood dream to be one of the animals that her veterinarian father used to take care of and treat.

Pretty In Pretense
You’re so careful to place your mirrors up at the precise angles so you never have to see yourself properly. The problem is, the ugly in you hasn’t gone away, you haven’t fixed anything. You’ve simply relegated it to a place where only other people can see; conveniently just outside you’re awareness. I wonder how shameless feels, especially when it’s so ill fitting. Overfull, tearing stitches at the seams. I can see your future, the quiet shame of your past. Stack them up, watch them fall, and then forget again.
